Do you need your customer to have an account?+
No, never. Your client opens the approval link on their phone, curates the media, and approves it with a PIN. No login, no account, no app required. Optionally, you can protect the link with a password and expiration date.
Can maebe post for you directly?+
No—and that’s intentional. We’ve deliberately chosen not to automate posting. Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn heavily restrict their APIs: Reels features, Stories, Collabs, and many creator tools only work natively. With maebe, you get the ready-to-post ZIP and caption on your phone and can publish in 30 seconds with all native features intact. No API outages, no lost collab tags.

Can you work with your team?+
Yes. In the Studio Plan, you can collaborate with up to 3 users, with additional users available for 9 € per user. Roles: Admin, Editor, Reviewer. Each user only sees what they have been granted access to.
How exactly does PIN release work?+
When setting up a workspace or per release, you’ll define a 4- to 6-digit PIN. Share this PIN with your client once—via WhatsApp, phone, or in person. When they click Release, they’ll need to enter the PIN. Every release is logged with a timestamp and PIN hash—so if questions arise later, you’ll have a reliable record.
How does data privacy work?+
maebe is hosted in Frankfurt (GDPR-compliant). Media is stored encrypted, sharing links are not publicly discoverable and can optionally be password-protected. Upon request, we’ll sign a data processing agreement (DPA).
How secure are the approval links?+
Every link has a random URL (e.g. maebe.app/s/7KPA-94mN) that can’t be guessed. You can also enable password protection and an expiration date. Final publishing is always PIN-protected. All actions are logged in the audit trail.
Is there a trial period?+
Try maebe for 14 days, free of charge and without a credit card. You’ll get full access to the Studio plan so you can explore everything at your own pace. When your trial ends, your account simply expires—no sneaky auto-renewal, no hidden discount tricks.
What happens if I cancel?+
Your account will remain archived for 30 days so you can export your data. All sharing links will be deactivated immediately. After 30 days, everything will be permanently deleted—fully GDPR-compliant.
